Blue Hour Kanazawa is a unique, boutique hostel located just 3 minutes walk from JR Kanazawa station, (which is the main transport hub in the city, including the bus station from and to Shirakawago/Takayama)

We have 20 bed mixed dorm and 7 bed female dorm with designed POD style beds. 10 of the beds in the mixed dorm and all 7 beds in the female dorm are cabin type units with no upper bunks and high ceilings. Each bed is enclosed by walls on three sides and curtains at the foot, which makes you feel quite private despite being a big dorm room. We also provide free earplugs so your roommates’ snoring should be no problem.

Each also has a light and storage locker.

The common space is also comfortable and abundant with charging for your mobile devices/PCs.  There are big windows so that you can enjoy sitting at the window looking on the busy street.

There is free tea and coffee (although kitchen facilities are limited to a microwave, toaster and boiling water) at any time.

We speak good English to explain Kanazawa city and recommend our neighborhood, so do not be shy to ask us anything if you do not speak Japanese.

You can leave your luggages here before check in and after check-out and we even provide locks to chain up your luggage.

Blue Hour Kanazawa is just 3 minutes walk from JR Kanazawa station.

Take the East Exit (Kenrokuen exit) at Kanazawa Station, and walk under the wooden arch.
Cross the junction and continue straight down the main road (about 100meters)
Then you will find the building that we locate on the 3rd floor on the left side.
